It's a lovely house in the middle of vineyards and the room and bathroom were beautifully appointed, as was the vast kitchen / dining / sitting room. The staff is very helpful and pleasant and we enjoyed the complimentary wine tour and tasting. The breakfast was fine, as was the charcuterie and cheese plate that we ordered for one of the evenings. When we had a couple of issues, we felt we had been heard and our feedback taken seriously. We were trusted to be in the house with all the wine and beautiful things.
Attention to detail was missing, such as a towel in the bathroom that had holes and was literally falling apart. This is unacceptable for the room rate.
I would not recommend staying on a Sunday night. Because all the staff are off from Saturday 6pm to Monday morning, there is no service in the kitchen, bedrooms or bathroom (listing says daily room service). So breakfast is left in the fridge / on the counter on Saturday and you help yourselves on Sunday morning. This meant that three couples left their breakfast things in the kitchen on Sunday morning, as you would expect. But when we returned in the afternoon all the washing up was still there, and the dishwasher was full of dirty things (both of which we sorted out). So you have to look after yourselves on a Sunday, which is different from all the other days, but costs the same. If it was an Airbnb we would expect to do our own thing, but it isn't, and it wasn't explained to us.

Great quality and mix of old and new. A lovely experience. We had a large room with a TV and AC - several other places we stayed at had neither. Great quality sheets and a Babyliss hair dryer. Fit in a wine tasting when we arrived which was a nice way to start the visit. The common area was large. If a bigger group booked multiple rooms it would be nice. The area was very quiet. We also liked the host’s recommendation for dinner in Pomerol. My favorite restaurant of the whole trip.
Don’t park under the trees - birds that had eaten a lot of grapes - deposited purple and white stuff all over the driver side door and window.

Breakfast was very good. Some very interesting breads. Could add some meats.
Coffee was just okay and coffee machine takes a while to figure out.
Nice that we could bring our own food. Felt at home.
Anton was a great help and very accommodating for the tasting.
Put a good reading light in each room.
