Our vacation homes are nestled in a natural woodland garden in Alexisbad, in the idyllic Selke Valley.
The apartments feature two bathrooms, a bedroom, a living room, and a small kitchenette. Enjoy the view of the romantic Selke Valley from the terrace or balcony.

We offer the forest cottages exclusively on a self-catering basis; free parking is also available.
Your vacation destination, Alexisbad—a district of the over 1,000-year-old town of Harzgerode—is situated in a valley 325 meters above sea level. Vast deciduous and coniferous forests with a healthy population of game stretch out all around. Originating from the small Hagenrode monastery, which was granted market and minting rights in 993, Alexisbad is one of the oldest settlements in the Lower Harz region.
The town is surrounded by castles and fortresses that can be easily reached by bus, car, the Selketalbahn (the Harz steam narrow-gauge railway—bicycles are allowed on board), on foot in sturdy shoes, or by bicycle. It’s especially convenient to board the historic Selketalbahn right across the street and ride at full steam through the Selke Valley or to the “Mountain of the Germans,” the Brocken.
