The view over the City of Bath was lovely. It was only a 10 minute walk from the train station. The house was well appointed with comfortable seating and beds for 6 people. The decor was smart. There was a dishwasher though the property agents seemed unaware of this. It was clean and spacious. The owners/agents were quick to respond.

The stairs, Bath is a hilly city but there were a lot of steps and stairs in and around this property. If you're getting dropped off ask to be left at Alton Place and then you only have to do 2 flights of steps. There was dirty cutlery in the drawers and no tin opener ( we were able to borrow one from the lovely neighbours) The key box is very low down so tricky to see in an evening.

The shower was good and it was tidy.

There were lots of steep steps to access the property and to walk into Bath which wasn't mentioned at the point of booking. My mum is 75 and struggled with these, especially when taking our luggage as we couldn't park outside the property. Parking was set back and again we had to climb several steps. The property was clean although there were stains on the carpets and coffee table. It was warm when we stayed and the upstairs bedrooms were very hot and uncomfortable which made it difficult to sleep. There was an electric fan which was extremely noisy so couldn't really be used. However, it was cooler on the second night. It's not really in central Bath - it took about 15 minutes to walk to the cathedral. We also had to walk through a subway which was slightly concerning for three women at night. It was fine as a base but I won't be booking out again due to the location and the steps.

Keys were in a key safe easy access.

It's a good location and great value.

The photos are very flattering of the space. For 7 adults it felt a little cramped. Contact with clean brake was a little confusing. Especially regarding early check in. There is only one parking space - residents were very clear that we shouldn't use the other parking location. But the park and ride is excellent value!
