Ideally located less than 3 miles from Wisp Resort and within minutes of lake activities, Waves, Waffles & WIFI is the perfect home base for your Deep Creek Lake vacation! This stunning chalet offers scenic mountain views from floor-to-ceiling windows in the great room. Designed with family get-togethers in mind, the main level has an open concept with an easy flow. Sink into the leather sectional in front of a crackling fire, and you will feel instantly relaxed. There is plenty of seating to maximize your TV viewing time too. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make favorite dishes. Come together for a home cooked meal around the dining table that has seating for eight. You can also make use of a smaller second table and seating for two at the breakfast bar. Sliding doors open to the deck, so be sure to make plans to use the gas grill for an afternoon barbecue. Furnished with a queen bed and TV, the main level bedroom decorated with a good night's sleep in mind. You will wake up refreshed and ready to tackle new lake adventures. Upstairs, two spacious bedrooms flank a full bathroom. They are both outfitted with queen beds and TVs. Fun for everyone comes easy at Waves, Waffles & WIFI! The family room has lots of space to spread out. Watch the big game on TV or challenge your friends to billiards or foosball. There is also a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed that rounds out the sleeping quarters. Fantastic outdoor living space will make your vacation truly special. You can check out mountain views while you dine outside on the wraparound deck. This is also where you will find the bubbling hot tub ~ a great place for stargazing. There is also a lower deck when you are looking for a quiet spot to unwind. Follow the gravel road to the trailhead that leads to the community lake access area (some stairs). This quiet cove gives you a spot to go swimming or fishing. You can easily reach Deep Creek Lake activities, restaurants, shops, and marinas by taking a short drive. During the summer, rent a boat for the day to take your crew for a cruise. When the snow starts to fall, head to Wisp Resort for skiing and snow tubing. Thrill seekers can check out the Adventure Sports Center's man-made river where experienced guides lead exciting white-water rafting trips. You're also not far from historic downtown Oakland. Stroll quiet streets lined with unique eateries, shops, and museums. No visit to Deep Creek Lake is complete without experiencing at least one of our state parks. Miles of hiking trails, sandy beaches for swimming, canoe rentals, cross country skiing and fishing are just a few ways to enjoy our public lands. Beautiful house close to the slopes.

Such a great place for multiple families with kids. It had everything we needed. We just wish the walk to the cove was a bit more kid friendly. It was still niceto go for a walk through the woods. We were able to rent a pontoon boat and enjoy the lake for a day. Totally a great visit!

The house itself is nice, with plenty to do, (beds are a little hard) however, the description at spots is very misleading. First, you cannot walk out onto the deck to the hot tub. It is at ground level. To take off the cover, if you stand on the right side, be careful, there is nothing to keep you from slipping off of the edge. And watch out for the hot tub rules after you’re done or you will get caught on the metal sign. There could also be some cleaning up in that area. The fire pit is on a hill and so the benches are on a horrible slant. (The whole property is on an hill so there is no yard you can use). And be careful if the grass is wet or you will slip down the hill while trying to walk around the bench. The biggest deception is the access to the lake. I rented thinking my grandchildren could go in the lake from the house, wrong. It is about a mile hike down a very treacherous path that is both rocky and overgrown. And when you get to the bottom, there is no where to go. It is essentially like a water hole so don’t expect to enjoy the lake or swimming from this property. Taylor made was helpful though when we called because the code to get in didn’t work. We had arrived early and the code doesn’t work until exactly 4:00. They immediately fixed the issue and let us in the property.
