Breathtaking outdoor areas steal the show at this French countryside inspired contemporary farm house on Sonoma Mountain, just above the village of Glen Ellen. This 5BR/4BA 8.6 acre estate overlooks its own 3 acre vineyard and features a main house and guest house that together sleep 14.



The home has a private pool, hot tub, landscaped lawns, separate structure with a 400 sq ft gym, and numerous outdoor areas. A meditation garden with a reflection pond offers the perfect spot for relaxing during the day or sipping wine at sunset.



Every room in this estate exudes elegance and style. The main house features a comfortable living area, dining room, and three separate bedrooms, including a palatial master that occupies the entire floor. One of the bedrooms also has a Queen pull out sofa.



Steps away from the main house, the guest cottage boasts similar charms. Two bedrooms, a living room with a King pull out sofa, a full kitchen and dining areas. Perfect for those in the group needing a bit more privacy.



INSIDE THE HOUSE



Enjoy meals overlooking the pool and the rolling vineyard beyond in the dining space with seating for 10.



The gourmet kitchen offers contemporary appliances including a six-top gas stove, dishwasher, two ovens and plenty of counter cooking space.



The master bedroom suite encompasses the entire second floor and boasts a queen bed, large soaking tub and an office. The second bedroom has a queen bed, while a third bedroom also has a queen bed. Each bedroom in the main house has its own bathroom.



The guest cottage sits steps away from the main house. This private retreat has two bedrooms (one room with a king bed and a loft with two twin beds), a full kitchen, and a shared full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The living room has a large pull out sofa.



OUTSIDE THE HOUSE



The sprawling grounds of this estate include a pool, gas grill, a fire pit, a bocce ball court, numerous dining and sitting areas, a pickleball/basketball court and a meditation garden with a reflecting pond and seating.



Please inquire for pool heating cost. From November to April the pool heating fee can be $1,000+. The hot tub heated free of charge.

Nearby wineries include Benziger Family Winery on Sonoma Mountain, Matanzas Creek Winery in Bennett Valley and the tasting rooms of Glen Ellen, with Kenwood favorites such as Chateau St. Jean, St. Francis and Ledson a scenic drive up Highway 12.

Each bedroom in the main house has its own bathroom, and the guest cottage offers a full kitchen and shared bathroom. The vineyard views are yours to enjoy from various vantage points throughout the property.



The Neighborhood:

Set high on Sonoma Mountain in a quiet rural corner of Santa Rosa, the estate sits just above the village of Glen Ellen, with Sonoma Valley on one side and Bennett Valley on the other. Head down the hill for dinner at the acclaimed Glen Ellen Star, or continue on to historic Sonoma Plaza and its restaurants. Wine lovers are close to Benziger Family Winery, a biodynamic estate on the same mountain, and to Matanzas Creek Winery in Bennett Valley, known for its lavender fields. Hike or ride the trails at Jack London State Historic Park and Sonoma Valley Regional Park, both just minutes away.

Getting Around: While a car is recommended to explore the beautiful Sonoma wine country, here's some information on transportation options. The property offers ample free parking for up to 5 vehicles. For those arriving by air, the Sonoma County Airport (STS) is approximately a 30-minute drive away. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is about a 1.5-hour drive. Consider using ride-sharing services or pre-booking a private car for convenient travel to and from the property. Local taxi services are also available, though availability may vary. Please note that public transportation options are limited in this area. We can also arrange private transportation through LegacyRnR, including a 11-passenger van and a 6-passenger Cadillac Escalade, perfect for wine tours and airport transfers.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Please adhere to these times to allow our team to prepare the property for the next guests. The property has ample free parking for up to 5 vehicles. Please note that amplified outdoor music is not permitted at any time, and quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, in accordance with Sonoma County regulations. The pool heating fee can be $1,000+ from November to April, please inquire for more details. The hot tub is heated free of charge. The minimum age to book is 25. Parties and events are not allowed. Pets are not allowed. We are dedicated to ensuring your stay is seamless and enjoyable, please contact us with any questions.

Please note that this property is located on a working vineyard. While we strive to maintain a peaceful and private environment for all guests, vineyard operations — including seasonal maintenance, harvest, irrigation, and other agricultural activities — may occasionally occur during your stay. These events are part of the natural rhythm of wine country and are essential to caring for the vines. We will always do our best to provide advance notice of any scheduled work, but timing is often weather-dependent and subject to change. Early check ins and late check outs are subject to availability, must be approved in writing in advance, and are charged at 50% of the nightly rate.



Guest Check In Form: After booking you will receive a link to our Guest App. Before arrival, the main guest completes a short check in form with their full name, email, phone, date of birth, a photo of a government ID (passport, ID card or driver's license), and an electronic signature on our rental agreement. Check in instructions and access details are sent only once the form is complete.
