About this house rental
Spacious and very clean two story 3/3 home with open floor plan located in a cozy community in the heart of Hutchinson Island. Walk in to a beautifully decorated living room, which offers a comfy full size memory foam sofa bed and 55' Smart TV. A full bathroom on the first floor and a fully stocked kitchen with lots of counter space and bonus seating on the kitchen counter. Upstairs you'll find three bedrooms two bathrooms. The large primary bedroom includes a queen bed, in-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, Smart TV and private balcony. Second bedroom includes two bunk beds and comfortably accommodates 4 children. Third bedroom includes a queen bed, Smart TV and desk with monitors.
Nettles Island offers a private beach and pool for guests of the community. Many activities offered within the community such as pickle ball, basketball, mini golf, shuffle board, racquetball, tennis and ping pong. Within the community there is also marina with boat ramp, grocery store, restaurant, and beach cafe. No golf cart is provided however, golf cart rental available for convenient access to the island and 24 hour security. Ask for details.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! The house was spacious, comfortable, and accommodated our group well. Having three full bathrooms was a huge plus and made getting everyone ready much easier.The only issue we experienced was with the air conditioning. During the first few nights, the thermostat appeared to be on a schedule and would change to 75–85 degrees overnight, causing us to wake up hot. Once we contacted the owner, the issue was addressed and we were able to keep the temperature at a comfortable setting for the rest of our stay.One thing future guests should know is that each person needs a pass for the pool. We didn’t realize this until day three. Some of the pool staff is fairly strict about checking passes. There were two passes provided in the house, and we were able to purchase four additional passes at the Rec Hall for 5 each, which was very reasonable.If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend renting a golf cart. It made getting around much more enjoyable. We rented the golf cart available with the house, which was very convenient, and also rented one from Gary’s Golf Carts.Overall, this was a great stay, and we would happily book this property again.

This home was perfect for our family of 6 grandpa and grandma (4 adults, 4 kids). It was in a great location on the island as well. We were very pleased with the communication with the host, and closing expectations were very low and easy to execute.Thank you for an amazing stay!!

Roomy for a large family trip! Beds were comfy and we loved having 3 full bathrooms. The included amenities on Nettles Island were great and the golf cart rental process was smooth. The cleanliness of the property should be improved, though. The towels and bedding were clean but some areas including the fridge water dispenser were very gross so we didn't feel comfortable using it. We understand no personal products being included such as shampoo, etc, but have never been to a rental without garbage bags, any extra toilet paper rolls, low hand soap, and an empty laundry detergent container. Overall, we would stay here again as it worked for our group.

This property worked well for our group of 5 adults. Would have been a 5 if not for the dishwasher being broken, and the added security at the gate (an inconvenience). It is important to provide all names for adult renters well ahead, and that message was communicated 3 days before arrival, when I was busy and missed the message.The place was nice and clean, and we had enough kitchen tools, etc. Bedrooms were comfortable. The bunk room had no place to hang anything as the closet is blocked by a bed. Like most stays, wish there were hooks available in all rooms.Nettles has good amenities and beach access with a crosswalk across A1A. An umbrella and two chairs were available with the house (nice). Parking is limited, but can use nearby bath house spot if needed.Enjoyed our visit at this house!
