Adorable 2 bedroom/1 bath Acadian cottage nestled underneath an incredible historic oak tree. Located at the rear of a beachfront home with private parking and a fenced in yard. The home is beautifully furnished and very comfortable (see reviews). Enjoy your coffee or cocktail sitting on the front porch with wonderful views of the bay. Ideal for walking/cycling to the beach and/or to Old Town, Churches and the Depot area. Pets subject to approval.

Great place to relax! I found this listing searching for a reasonably-priced beach house on the Gulf coast. This charming cottage filled the bill! It was stylishly decorated and very clean and cozy. The comfortable king-sized bed was much appreciated. Loved the huge tree live oak just outside the porch that provided shade. The location is close to restaurants and shops and it feels safe enough to walk. It is very close to the beach, a 1 minute walk, but it is behind another house and across the street.It was an added plus to learn the history of the area from the 1600's and enjoy the delicious food of this cute little town. Barracuda Taco Stand has the best fish tacos I've ever eaten.

We loved this cottage! Absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. The host was very responsive and generous. The home was clean and spacious. We loved being able to bring our dogs. The location was awesome!

Property is in a fantastic location and the owner is very responsive. Super cute layout and front porch. We had a few hiccups over the few days but overall the stay was comfortable. We are a family of 4 with two young kids and felt like we had plenty of space to spread out. House needs to have more basic supplies on hand, like soap for the shower, a few extra trash bags, dish pods, laundry detergent, and a few more rolls of toilet paper. We also randomly could not find any spoons but there were a zillion forks. Same for having tons of dinner plates but few bowls. Also recommend buying gallons of water for drinking, as the filtered water from the fridge still tastes metallic (no fault of the owners, just how the water is in BSL).
