About this cabin rental
Relax at this 2800+ Sq Ft beautiful, well maintained log cabin on 1.3 Acres of wooded property with 100' frontage on both sides of the Sturgeon River. Across from neighboring North Central State Trail. Minutes from Big Bear Adventures, Indian River Golf Club, Burt Lake and about a half hour from Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Gaylord and Mackinac City. Explore the area or just hang out by the river, in the new hot tub (being installed for Nov. 2022), fire-pit or BBQ on one of the two grills. (One located up top deck and one out back). A nature lover's dream.

A really nice place with plenty of room and all the amenities a family or group would need. From the well stocked kitchen to the Green Egg smoker, to the Grill, the hot tub, the fire pit by the house, the fire pit by the river, the tubes and life jackets it has it all. The proximity right next to the North Central biking/hiking trail was huge for us as well. The upper deck made me feel like we were in a treehouse. Minutes from Burt Lake State Park with a great beach was a great plus to.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the River House cabin. It met our needs very well and was a great place to gather after our busy days out exploring and seeing the sights.

Location was wonderful! Loved the access to the river, proximity to Mackinaw and bike trail right by the cabin.
