With amazing views of Agency Lake right from the deck, The Lake House is the perfect retreat for a family or group of friends looking to explore the Klamath Basin, or a romantic getaway for a couple looking to relax away from the city. Whatever you choose to do during your trip to Chiloquin, The Lake House is the perfect home to start your adventure! **** A Note About Nature: The Lake House is a waterfront property in Southern Oregon, which means wildlife, insects, spiders, mosquitos, non-biting midges and other critters are a natural part of the environment, particularly during warmer months. The house is professionally cleaned and maintained, and professional pest control is performed on a regular schedule. However, we cannot guarantee a completely bug-free indoor or outdoor environment. Seasonal conditions and critters can change daily, so please keep doors and screens closed when possible, exterior lights off when possible, and come prepared to enjoy everything that comes with being close to the water and nature :) **** If you plan on using Agency Lake for any type of recreation during your stay, please check any advisories on the lake before you book. Please note that if you make a booking in winter for a summer stay, the status of the lake can change. We do not own or maintain the lake, and our guests use it at their own risk :)

This is a gem of a property. We found the price reasonable for what you get: beautiful views, clean and inviting rooms, plenty of space on the land for multiple cars just a wonderful host. Tanya is exceptional; we had great communication and she made sure we had all we needed. We stayed here on a family retreat and had a blast. We like to paddleboard and found the Spring Creek day use area nearby to have some of the clearest water you will ever see. We like to golf, and there is a very good course within a short drive of the home. The back deck is the star of the property with incredible sunsets and a grill right there for a gathering. You’ll want to bring bug spray for outdoors in the late evening, but that is just how lake life can be. In our time, Agency Lake was shut down for some forms of water recreation due to algae— so you’ll want to check that if swimming / paddleboarding etc are important. But even if so, the nearby swimming holes and streams will be just a short drive away. In fact, the aforementioned Spring Creek day use area is a destination location for some paddle boarders as we sort of just stumbled on it. Book without hesitation as we are very happy with our stay and I’m certain you will be too.

We loved the house, the lake view was wonderful. House was well appointed. Beds were comfortable, well stocked kitchen and extras in baths was a nice touch.

This was one of our favorite VRBOs we've stayed in! The view was gorgeous, it was an easy drive to Crater Lake, and the home was so well stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated that it wasn't a rationed supply of things. There were more than enough towels, kitchen items, coffee bar supplies, beach towels, bathroom and laundry supplies, etc. It felt more like you were in a family friends' cabin than a rental. if we ever come back to the area we will hands down be trying to stay here!

This a fabulous house and very clean. The kitchen was wonderful and had everything you needed to cook for a large family! I am glad I brought my own ladle because that was the only utensil I did not find. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept very well. The VIEW is extraordinary and there is lots of room for outdoor activities if you wish to bring items. The mosquitoes are BAD so be prepared and be sure to shut doors so they stay outside!Entrance into the house can be difficult with a person using a Walker or difficulty stepping higher than 5 inches. My grandsons were able to help my husband but he also didn’t leave the house to enjoy the beautiful deck.I would rent this house again because the location is excellent; the house is beautiful and we had a great time with 3 generations of family to celebrate the graduation of #2 grandson from Oregon Tech!!!The host was always very diligent in returning emails and accommodating us by being able to add an extra day to our original booking!
