Vacation Rental 1 is located on the first floor of an old farmhouse. It has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 5 people.
Thanks to its layout, it’s not only ideal for families with children—couples who love hiking will also find plenty of space here.
With 95 square meters of space, the apartment offers plenty of room for 5 people. We lovingly restored and renovated this apartment in 2021.

In total, this apartment has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom features a double bed, and the second bedroom is furnished with a 1.60-meter-wide bed and a single bed. This bedroom also has a door leading outside, from which you can access the courtyard and garden directly. Upon your arrival, the beds will, of course, already be made.

The kitchen features a cozy dining area and a well-equipped kitchenette. You’ll find everything you need for cooking here: a dishwasher, a glass-ceramic cooktop, an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, a kettle, and much more. We’re happy to provide high chairs, appropriate for the children’s ages, if needed.
If you need any other baby items, such as a play mat, travel crib, baby bouncer, or baby monitor, just let us know.

The living room offers plenty of seating for a cozy family evening and a small reading nook with an armchair.

In the bathroom, which includes a toilet and shower, plenty of towels will be waiting for you upon your arrival.

We’ve converted the old barn into a common room.
Here you’ll find a washing machine and dryer, as well as a beverage fridge that you’re welcome to help yourselves to.
In the game cabinet, you’ll find numerous board games for all ages.
If the weather isn’t so good, your little ones are welcome to play with the toy store set here or help themselves to toys from the toy boxes.

When the weather is nice, you can sit out on our terrace in the morning sun while the children explore the large garden.
A climbing frame with a slide and swings, a sandbox, and a trampoline are just waiting to be discovered. Or the children can set sail on our playboat, the “Blaues Wunder.”
In the garden shed, you’ll find not only numerous outdoor toys—such as soccer balls, tennis balls, a Bobby Car, and a pedal tractor—but also a grill and lounge chairs.

From the stairwell, you can access the courtyard and from there go directly into the large garden, which is shared by all residents. The garden faces south, so you can enjoy your breakfast in the sun.

At the back of the garden, our chickens have their coop and are always happy when someone stops by with some feed. If the chickens are productive enough, you’re welcome to get fresh eggs from us.

In just a few minutes’ walk, you’ll reach the “Schöne Aussicht” lookout point. Here, you’ll have a magnificent view of the entire Rursee, and it serves as the starting point for numerous hikes and excursions. It’s also a special place at night, as it’s designated as a “star spot” in the Eifel Star Park.

The Schmidt Wildlife Park, a destination for young and old alike, is also within walking distance. Here, children can get to know, feed, and pet numerous native animals.
