The Accommodation
Nestled along the historic monastery walls, right on the idyllic Mühlweiher pond, we warmly welcome you to our lovingly renovated vacation apartment, Ava, in Heiligkreuztal.
With approximately 75 square meters of light-filled living space, Ava offers sleeping accommodations for up to 6 people, providing plenty of room for the whole family.
Inspired by this historic location, we’ve breathed new life into Ava so that, in addition to its 1690s charm, it now also offers modern comforts such as internet and smart TV, as well as wireless charging stations for your mobile devices, a new kitchenette with an oven, stove, dishwasher, and a Senseo pad machine, as well as a bathroom with natural light, a shower, and a bathtub.
Upon your arrival, in addition to fresh towels and a freshly made bed, you’ll find a bottle of water, a bottle of sparkling wine, one coffee pod per person, various teas, snacks, sugar, basic spices, as well as vinegar and oil waiting for you:-)
Please note that the wood-burning stove must not be used for heating!
For a relaxing start to the day, you can enjoy breakfast at the monastery every morning.
The full breakfast costs €9.00 per person and is served year-round, 7 days a week, in the monastery’s breakfast room, located 150 meters away.
If you’re interested, we recommend booking your breakfast before you arrive.
The monastery restaurant (about 200 meters away) serves lunch and dinner. The menu is also available in the vacation rental.
The immediate surroundings of the restored monastery complex are well worth exploring.
After an interesting detour to the Häussler Backdorf, a guided tour of the monastery, or hikes to the archaeological nature trail and the Heuneburg Museums, you can relax wonderfully in the spacious sunroom with a view of the lake while enjoying a glass of wine.
