About this apartment rental
Hello and a warm welcome to the “Mare Nostrum 12” vacation rental. It’s located on the second floor of a small apartment building right by the beach, behind the dunes of Westerland. With 70 square meters of space and two separate bedrooms, it’s perfect for a wonderful vacation for four people, but it can also comfortably accommodate six, since the cozy couch in the living room—which opens onto the kitchen—folds out into a full-size double bed for a really good night’s sleep. The two separate double bedrooms feature the cozy sloped ceilings typical of the island. The open-concept kitchen-living area (painted in “Vanilla”) is fully equipped; the balcony is furnished for summer use, and a private parking space (in the underground garage) as well as a shared washer and dryer are also available. But the real highlight of this cozy and very thoughtfully designed house is its truly great location: it’s less than ten minutes from this quiet street to the bustling downtown area with all its shopping options, quaint pubs, and attractive restaurants. And if you like to swim in the ocean before breakfast, you can theoretically “just walk over” to the beach in your swimsuit—it’s less than two minutes away.

Admittedly, very few of our residents do either. “Mare Nostrum” means “our sea”; it once referred to the Mediterranean and here on the island stands for a truly attractive apartment building where we manage all 12 units.
