About this apartment rental
Our traditional organic mountain farm in the Berchtesgadener Land region is located in the municipality of Piding. The farm, which features stylish vacation apartments, sits on a hilltop with views of the valley and the Berchtesgaden Mountains. Children have plenty of opportunities to play and have fun here—whether it’s the trampoline, seesaw, swings, climbing tree, or slide—everything a child could wish for. Our guests are welcome to visit our animals in the barn and out in the pasture. We’re an active farm with dairy cows. There are lots of calves and small animals, such as rabbits (Berle, Vanessa, and Snow White), goats (Resi and Bärli), geese (Martin and Martha), 20 chickens, and currently some turkeys as well. They’re always thrilled to get some food. We’re happy to let you know which animals prefer what. We don’t throw away any food here—there’s always someone to eat it! We look forward to seeing you!
You can enjoy a barbecue with a wonderful view or simply sit by the fire pit with some bread on a stick. If you want to take it easy, you can lie down on the panoramic lounger from time to time.
The Salzburg vacation rental is located on the first floor, featuring a spacious living room and a separate bedroom.
Numerous sights and natural wonders—and, of course, our mountains—are right nearby. The UNESCO World Heritage city of Salzburg is just a short drive away. Bad Reichenhall and Königssee are not far away. The “Bavarian Sea,” Lake Chiemsee, is easily accessible by car. There, you can visit one of King Ludwig II’s UNESCO-listed royal castles, Herrenchiemsee Castle. Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Palace are about a 3-hour drive away. If you take a gondola, you can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of our beautiful Bavaria.
Our farm isn’t just home to animals—we also love our flowers and our vegetable garden. You’re welcome to help yourself to the fresh herbs. Our orchard also offers many delicious treats.
We run our active farm as a side business. Animal welfare is our top priority.
