After many years of owner-occupancy—a renovated penthouse apartment with ocean views is now available for rent
Bright, renovated 2-room corner apartment (!) on the 5th floor with a very spacious sun terrace, sun loungers, and recliners. Exclusive view of the International Shipping Route and the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, the Wadden Sea.
This tastefully and high-quality furnished, allergy-friendly apartment features a cozy bedroom on the loft, which is equipped with a double bed (140 x 200 cm), a single bed (90 x 200 cm), and a comfortable sleeper sofa (140 x 200 cm). (Headroom on the loft 165-175)
Die sofa in the living room also converts into a bed and offers a sleeping surface of 125 x 200 cm. The apartment has a very well-equipped kitchen.
The bathroom features a shower and a bathtub, and there is also an additional, separate toilet. Includes a free underground parking space (ceiling height 149 cm) and free Wi-Fi. The apartment also comes with a long-term parking permit for Nordfeldstraße and the large public parking lot across from the building.
Complex:
The “Jan am Strand” apartment building captivates with its maritime ambiance and is situated in a prime location, directly behind the dike. The picturesque sandy beach of Döse is just a minute’s walk away. Depending on the apartment’s location, you can enjoy an exclusive view of the International Maritime Route and the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, the Wadden Sea, on the north side. On the south side, a sun-drenched spot with an enchanting view of the landscape awaits you.
All apartments are comfortable and accessible via elevator, and each comes with an assigned underground parking space. Both the apartments and the penthouse units at “Jan am Strand” feature balconies or spacious terraces.
The Spielkogge at the Döse Beach House is within sight, and the expansive “Seeräuber” adventure playground in the spa park as well as the heated seawater outdoor pool on the beach are within walking distance. Washing machines and dryers are available in the building.

Notice for guests at “Jan am Strand”—construction work on the heating system
From 03.11.2025 through approximately 12.12.2025, the heating and hot water systems at “Jan am Strand” will be replaced.
• Hot Water: A temporary hot water supply will be available during the work. Please note that the water pressure may be lower than usual.
• Heating: During this period, only portable electric heaters (e.g., oil-filled radiators) will be available in the apartments, as central heating will not be possible.
• Noise Disturbance: Due to the dismantling and installation work, construction noise is to be expected during this period.

Wir haben schon ofter Urlaub in Döse gemacht, in einem Ferienhaus. Das Apartment Haus haben wir natürlich auch immer beim Spaziergang gesehen und da wir jetzt mal etwas mit Ausblick aufs Meer haben wollten, haben wir dort die schönste Wohnung raus gesucht.
