Welcome to our boarding house. We cordially invite you to spend a relaxing time with us and discover the diverse attractions of the Osnabrück region and the Teutoburg Forest. The history of the house:
Our apartments blend tradition with modernity. The house was built in the 1930s. The owner at the time worked as a senior crane operator at the Klöckner steelworks, now known as Georgsmarienhütte GmbH. His wife lovingly tended to the house and garden—together, the two enjoyed life and, after a day’s work, the wonderful view of the Teutoburg Forest from the veranda. Guests were always warmly welcomed by both of them, and so even back then, after the house was completed, rooms were used to accommodate family and guests. They entrusted the property to their family—where it remains to this day. In 2020–2021, the house underwent a complete renovation, during which the idea for today’s boarding house was conceived and brought to life.
In the “August” business apartment and the “Maria” comfort apartment, you can now make yourself at home, experience the charm of days gone by with a modern twist, and simply feel comfortable. We look forward to welcoming you as our guests.
