"In Canneto" is located in the heart of the historic center, in the typical "caruggi" just a stone's throw from the Cathedral, the Doge's Palace, and the Aquarium.
Located on the 4th floor of a 15th-century building with a convenient elevator, the apartment is bright thanks to its high ceilings—over 3 meters—and large windows.
The recent renovation preserved period materials and finishes in the Genoese style while enhancing overall comfort (air conditioning, double-paned windows, Wi-Fi, fiber-optic internet, Smart TV).
The apartment features a bedroom distinguished by a decorative former fireplace with slate slabs and an arch made of antique bricks, which contribute to its unique atmosphere. It is equipped with a brand-new air conditioner and HD TV.
Mattresses, pillows, bed linens, and towels have been carefully selected to ensure maximum comfort and a restful sleep.
The kitchen features a traditional Genoese marble sink as well as original, finely restored 1950s furniture, such as the sideboard and the table with a marble top.
One bathroom is available, featuring a shower and distinctive original 1950s sink, toilet, and bidet, while a second bathroom—also with a shower and accessible from the bedroom—is optional and available only to guests staying more than 10 nights.
We can provide 24-hour covered, private, and video-monitored parking for 15€ per night of your stay.
We will be happy to provide detailed directions on how to get there and accompany you first to the parking lot and then to the apartment. The historic center is a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), so unauthorized access is prohibited, and there are no paid public or private parking spaces. However, you may temporarily enter the ZTL and drive up to 50 meters from the house to load or unload luggage.

The apartment was perfectly located in the heart of the old city, and was beautifully cared for, with so much character. Nicola was a lovely host, so helpful and enthusiastic about his city. Would highly recommend.

Nicola was very welcoming and met us at check in. He had great suggestions and information for the area - including a list of restaurants which was much appreciated. The home is right in Old Town so it was very convenient to get around and there were grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Saturday night was pretty noisy with a bar down the street playing loud music until late but the rest of the nights were quiet (you can hear some street noise but it wasn't during the times we were sleeping and wasn't bad; closing the shutters also helped) - not sure if that was typical of every Saturday night or if there was an event but the rest of our 4-night stay was quiet at night and using earplugs that Saturday night took care of it. The house was clean and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and also had lots of coffee options. Nicola even left out a local digestif to try in the evenings (it was excellent!).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Genoa. Nicola is an exceptional host. Communication was great which made our arrival nice and easy. The building has a lift for which we were very grateful. Nicola helped us to find our way around the neighborhood with many nice recommendations for sites and restaurants.

The owner, Nicola met us just outside the rental unit and explained the check in process as well as operation of the elevator. The apartment was very clean and convenient to many restaurants. Nicola allowed us to keep our luggage in the apartment until it was time to go the the airport. We would definately rent this place again.
