About this cabin rental

If you’re looking for a place to truly rest and unwind, you’ve found it. Guests often say this cabin feels cozy, peaceful, and like a home away from home.

Nestled among the trees just above Pigeon Forge, the cabin offers expansive views of the Smoky Mountains, including iconic Mount LeConte. Tucked away along a quiet ridge, you’ll enjoy excellent privacy and frequent wildlife sightings—including deer and, occasionally, a black bear passing through. (The photos truly don’t do it justice.)

Inside, natural light floods the cabin through the prow-front windows, allowing mountain views from most rooms. On chilly days, the real wood-burning fireplace creates the perfect setting for a warm, cozy evening. Curl up with a book in an oversized chair in the bedroom or step out onto the balcony with your favorite beverage and take in the view.

After a day of hiking in the Smokies or exploring town, come home and relax in the hot tub or unwind on the spacious deck surrounded by nature.

If solitude isn’t what you’re craving, Pigeon Forge is just 10 minutes away, offering restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Traveling with kids? The game room features a pool table and vintage arcade games, and Dollywood is nearby, making this cabin a great choice for families as well as couples.

Important Note

Please note there are three sets of stairways and approximately 20 steps to reach the cabin, with a narrow sidewalk between the first and second set. Please take this into consideration before booking.

Very nice cabin! There were a lot of steps and a very sharp turn on gravel driveway- low sitting cars would probably bottom out. We were in an F150 and did OK. Wished it had WiFi. Otherwise, it was a nice cabin.

Unbelievable view! What a location! My husband, twin teen sons, and I loved that we could be anywhere in Pigeon Forge in 15 minutes. However, the cabin was so private that it felt like no one else was on the mountain. We were able to cook our own meals for a couple of days and nights and also enjoy brunch, lunch, and dinner out some days. If you want to go to Dollywood, this is the cabin for you! You’ll be in a parking spot in 15 minutes.

Bear-rific is the best cabin for relaxation and close proximity to many activities. We loved driving up to the top of the mountain to seclusion, comfort and spectacular views. The cabin is beautiful - clean, well equipped, comfortable and entertaining (hot tub, pool table, arcade games). Sitting in the main area, reading a book while occasionally looking at the view of the mountains, is heaven. The cabin is close to areas with all kinds of entertainment and food. If you want nature experiences, the cabin is close to the Smoky Mountains. Make sure you drive the Roaring Fork motor trail and go to Cades Cove.John is an excellent host. He is kind, genuinely nice and quick to reply. (No problems at the cabin, just discussion.) We greatly appreciated being able to bring our fur-baby! On the 2 roads to the cabin, we saw bear cubs. You can also watch the weather change in the mountains as you relax on the deck or inside. The thunderstorm at night was incredible. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed! Love this cabin and all it offers.

The cabin has a great layout, I just wished it was cleaner and managed better. My disappointments and areas of concern were: the couch reeked of urine, pet hair through out, chewed furniture and trim, water stains on vaulted ceiling, cob webs inside and out, non working light fixture on upstairs fan, missing/burnt out bulbs in multiple fixtures. Very low 40w bulb on a bent/worn out dimmer over the eating area (pretty much made it pointless for use in the evening). Showers are dark because of no lighting above and the curtain upstairs was gross. It was too long so a foot or more was on the shower floor underfoot. The pool table was nice and got a lot of use during our stay once we noticed which pool cues were decent enough to use. The arcade display only projected on the bottom half of the screen. Not all was negative, the beds were clean and comfortable and the kitchen was furnished with everything needed to prepare a meal.
