If you want to spend a vacation with your family or friends in unspoiled nature, completely undisturbed and far away from the rest of the world, then the Waldheimat group house at gruppenchalets.com in lush Styria is exactly what you’re looking for. Idyllically situated in romantic Massing—a side valley of the village of Krieglach—forests and meadows define the surroundings of this small family-run business.
The restful tranquility is accompanied by birdsong and the gentle gurgling of the Massingbach stream, which flows right past the house.
The rustic and cozy style of this house will enchant you, and despite its authentic charm, you won’t lack for any comforts. Most of the 11 bedrooms are equipped with a shower and toilet; two bedrooms share a bathroom down the hall. The large living room offers plenty of space for all guests to gather comfortably in the evening. A beautiful piano is available here for musical accompaniment. The smaller living room, featuring the original bar with a tap and coffee maker, is adjacent to the large kitchen, where you’ll find all the necessary cooking utensils to cater to your group.
On the large property, complete with a “beer garden” and a wood-fired grill, many an evening gathering will run late into the night. After an active day of vacation, you’ll look forward to a cozy spot in the garden where you can unwind while rocking in a lounge chair.
For a soccer tournament or a yoga retreat, the landlord has mowed a large meadow right next door for you. Under the watchful eyes of hopping rabbits and curious cats, you’ll tell your kids the most beautiful fairy tales by the crackling campfire.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Gruppenhaus Waldheimat.
Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und der Garten liebevoll gestaltet. Alles zusammen ist so großzügig, dass man selbst bei großen Gruppen für alle Bedürfnisse, sei es Entspannung oder aber Aktivität den richtigen Platz findet

Wir hatten bei der Buchung keine Probleme. Sowohl die Kommunikation mit Gruppenchalets als auch direkt mit dem Vermieter hat sehr gut funktioniert und alle Fragen die wir hatten wurden beantwortet. - 5 Sterne
Wir haben uns bei den Vermietern sehr wohl gefühlt. Obwohl wir eine große Gruppe (16 Personen) waren, haben sich die Vermieter nicht stören lassen. Wir wurden jeden Tag von Ihnen bekocht. Das Essen und die Nachspeisen waren ein Traum! Können wir nur empfehlen, dass Angebot der Halbpension anzunehmen. - 5 Sterne
Die Region ist sehr schön! Es muss einem nur bewusst sein das es sein kann, dass man keinen Netzempfang hat. Da bei uns im Unternehmen alle einen Drei oder Magenta Handytarif haben, hatten wir kein Netz während unserem Aufenthalts. WLAN gab es auf der Hütte, dass für die Kommunikation zu Familie und Freunden gereicht hat. - 4 Sterne

Alles im allem hat gut gepasst. Leider knarren die Böden teilweise ziemlich, was dann mit dem schlafen etwas schwierig ist.
Es ist eine ruhige Gegend, richtig zum entspannen.

Wunderschöne Gruppenaus mitten im Grünen, hoher Erholungsfaktor. Sehr groß und viel Platz. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet (lediglich die Messer nicht ganz scharf). Super, dass es so viele kleine Schlafzimmer gibt. Der Raum mit der Schank ist sehr gemütlich. Auch der große Grupperaum bietet genug Platz für ein paar Spiele. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt
