This exclusive 2-room vacation apartment in the historic thatched-roof property “Witthüs” offers approximately 40 m² of living space across two levels and is perfect for up to 2 people. Stylishly furnished, the apartment blends tradition and modernity to provide a comfortable living experience. The ‘Witthüs,’ built in 1913, is centrally located in Wenningstedt and was a popular gathering place for artists in the 1970s. In 1995, it was tastefully converted into an apartment building. Feinkost Meyer, which includes a bakery, is located right nearby, and the beach is conveniently accessible in 10–12 minutes on foot. Pets are not allowed.

In the attic, the bedroom awaits you with a comfortable double bed (2 x 80x200 cm), a spacious built-in closet, and a TV for relaxing evenings.

The bathroom is modernly equipped with a shower, toilet, towel warmer, and hair dryer, offering the perfect start to your day. You’ll find pure relaxation in the shared wellness area with a sauna and relaxation room inside the building.

A parking space and Wi-Fi (subject to availability) are provided. A shared washer and dryer (for a fee) are available for your laundry. The central location in the heart of Wenningstedt and the proximity to the beach perfectly round out the experience.



Welcome to the historic Witthüs under Reet—a unique residence that combines Sylt’s traditional thatched-roof architecture with modern comforts. This charming property, once a popular gathering place for artists in the 1970s, was built in 1913 and lovingly converted into an apartment building in 1995. Today, it houses nineteen cozy vacation apartments. Four of these are rented out through us; ranging from 40 m² to 65 m², they accommodate 2 to 4 guests, and some even welcome four-legged friends. Each apartment has its own parking space.

The Witthüs is centrally located in Wenningstedt, allowing you to fully savor the island experience. The beach is a 10–12-minute walk away, and Feinkost Meyer, with its bakery, is right nearby, so you can enjoy fresh rolls in the morning.
