Gengenbach, in the beautiful Black Forest, is a charming, romantic half-timbered town. The historic old town, with its towers and gates, narrow alleys, and picturesque nooks and crannies, invites you to take a leisurely stroll. From Gengenbach, numerous biking and hiking trails lead you on a journey of discovery through nature. The hills surrounding Gengenbach are also ideal for mountain bike tours of all difficulty levels. Wine lovers will also find plenty to enjoy, as winegrowing has a long tradition in Gengenbach. The sheltered vineyards and the mild climate allow winemakers to produce high-quality wines, which visitors are welcome to sample during wine-tasting events.
During the Advent season, a visit to the old town is also well worth it, as Gengenbach’s town hall, with its 24 windows, is transformed into the world’s largest Advent calendar house.

The VELO apartment (76 m²) is located on the first floor of the main building. The modern living area (with hardwood and tile flooring), featuring a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, and silverware), a dining area, and a sofa bed, offers a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Free Wi-Fi, a LAN connection, and a smart TV are available. One of the bedrooms is furnished with a comfortable double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m), while the other features a French double bed (1.40 x 2.00 m).
