Everyone has already mentioned the stunning view from the living room window, so i won't repeat what has been said a hundred times. Let me tell you about the other things, that make this apartment special. Luka, the host, personally greeted us at the apartment entrance and showed us around. The first goes up to the third floor (an old-fashioned lift that adds a lovely touch of character to the place!), and then there are just a few more steps to climb on foot. The apartment is very quiet - which is a huge plus for me, as i absolutely cannot stand noise- and spotlessly clean. The bathroom is equipped with shampoo, shower gel and a hairdryer. The water pressure could be a little stronger, although i understand this is not necessarily something the host can control. The bed linen deserves special mention: excellent-quality cotton, not synthetic fabric! Even the pillowcase designs match the city you're staying in. No generic polka dots here! I slept on the sofa bed. It was very soft, although not the most comfortable option for a full night's sleep. My mum, however, was very happy with the proper bed. The decor is fantastic! There are so many charming little objects and details that you could spend ages looking around and discovering something new. The apartment has real personality. The kitchen is well equipped, and even the basics are there: sugar, salt, oil, ect (probably left behind by previous guests). However, i really missed a capsule coffee machine. We didn't use the traditional Italian coffee maker, as not everyone enjoys a thimble-sized espresso! A capsule machine would be a much more practical addition. A decent, modern wine opener would also be very welcome - i've almost forgotten how to open a bottle of wine with the old-fashioned contraption provided! The location is also very convenient for visiting the Museum of Florentine Mosaics, which i highly recommend. For grocery shopping, I'd recommend CONAD supermarkets

One more thing that would make the stay even better: WIFI. It's something you really miss when it isn't available.

Tutto a posto , ho consigliato alla struttura di dotarsi di una macchinetta con cialde per il caffé al posto della moka, sarebbe molto più pratico

The apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable, at a very central convenient location. The view was phenomenal and the great plus for the summer weather we had during our stay was the rooftop terrace which made our morning coffee and night drinks even better. The apartment is fully equipped for someone that would prefer to cook in house.
