Very disappointing accommodation, and I felt we were ripped off by the high price we paid.
the location,
The house decor was very tired and dated. The house was advertised as a villa but turned out to be a 2 bedroom duplex with a one bedroom apartment underneath. I had booked this house for a family holiday but we ended up in 2 separate accommodation areas which both had separate entrances.
Both apartments were quite tired and dated in appearance and did not have high levels of cleanliness. The top floor apartment kitchen had cupboards filled with difference food stuffs and there was very little remaining space to put our own food. Both apartments were also infested with ants.
Both of the bedroom wardrobes were filled with the owners own possessions and a chest of drawers was the same.
We had a single hanging rail to hang our clothes which was separate to the wardrobe.
The BBQ did not work and the TV had no connectivity for terrestial tv Channels.
The pool was dirty when we arrived and when we contacted Ulrika the Manager she said it had been cleaned the day before we arrived. She sent the pool guy pretty promptly to clean the pool and he said he had been there 3 days previously.
I normally rely on the ratings and reviews given on the Booking.com website when I book accommodation. However my daughter pointed out that the reviews for the house were external reviews taken from third party websites.
I think only accommodation that has been reviewed and verified from Booking.com clients should be included in the property description.
