Location - (1) excellent for transport with both keihan line and Tanimachi line to get to Umeda, Namba and Kyoto; (2) walking distance to Osaka castle, Tenjimbashi shopping street or to Kitahama/Nakanishima areas for great coffee and brunch places; (3) shopping at Keihan mall across the road including uniqulo, Muji, 3 coins and Daiso as well as food supermarket on the basement floor and various restaurants on the 8th floor. (4) airport bus to/from Tenmabashi and Kansai Int’l airport now in operation, only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Hotel - excellent housekeeping and cleanliness (which is very important to me), bed very comfortable, convenient for doing laundry, staff are very friendly and courteous.
Our room also had Rafa hairdryer and straightener which were very useful.
Our room had a nice view of Tenmabashi city lights and also a view of Osaka castle from the corridor on the 15th floor.
It’d be ideal if the breakfast would include Japanese food.

The hotel is clean and convenient. With carpark is an advantage to tourist with car rental.
If there are some sports facilities like fitness bike would be great.

Staff were pleasant. Position was good for shops, castle, river, and eating places.
Buffet breakfast was very ordinary. Hot food should be hot - it wasn’t. No choice with sliced bread for toasting …white or nothing and rolls very cold..had to be heated in order to cut them! Skin on sausages got more like leather as the days progressed. Fruit bowl had unpeeled orange, grapefruit and banana segments in beside tinned pineapple …. and three dishes with the same unpeeled fruit alongside..? Dispenser (only one) ran out of coffee as I filled my cup, but luckily staff saw and took the cup to fill behind the counter.
The room had a kettle but no coffee/tea, and bathroom had no extras…..just usual pump shampoo etc. all extras had to be collected from the lobby.
The bed was very hard, as were the pillows.
No communal area like a lounge except the foyer…and the room too small to fit 2 chairs.

Free amenities, location was decent, good distance to the Osaka castle and Tenmabashi station, Kyobash, 2 subways and mall in front.i
The toilet was really stinky, smelled like old urine in an aged care facility that was left unclean for months, no matter how much air freshener we sprayed, it was stinky.
They also placed us on the 2nd floor for no reason as I felt we paid a substantial amount and I have a Booking Genius discount, I was not sure why I should be penalized for getting a discount.
There was no view at all, and the room did not smell good. I had a very good experience with Keihan brands before so this was a big disappointment.
Lastly, they messed up my request for late check out, even though we had clear communication at Booking of my request to check out late, they still called us at 11am and also cancelled our cards. Very disappointing !
