The check-in staff was very friendly and gave me all the information I needed, including where I could park, which was important! I loved that there was a vending machine as well, because I needed items from it, since there were no shops nearby. The room is very spacious and clean, the TV works well, the amenities in the room and bathroom are great. It was also very quiet, even though we were next to the car park and the water.

The hotel looks quite new and everything is in excellent condition. I upgraded to a room on the first floor with beautiful views of the harbor. Everything worked out perfectly. The only downside is that there are only two places to eat in the small harbor. One is the Schierzicht, and there’s another restaurant right across from it. There’s no grocery store nearby, but the hotel has vending machines, so it’s still easy to manage. The hotel also has a lounge where you can relax and enjoy free tea and coffee at any time, which is really nice. Breakfast was also good.
Nothing!

Perfect point of departure for a Wadloop

Modern building with rooms attached to restaurant right on the harbour with own parking, couple of other restaurants a short walk away (one of which stays open until 22:00) but not much else except a ferry terminal, clean comfortable room, good breakfast with usual buffet plus boiled or fried eggs.
On arrival, signs directed me away from the attached restaurant to a reception at the property but this was locked up with no intercom or other method of contact, except a telephone number. When I rang (fortunately, my mobile contract allowed it but at a cost), somebody simply walked through from the restaurant. They seemed to think this system worked fine. I disagreed. Some additional information on the listing or at the property about check-in (even just 'If our Reception is closed, please enquire at restaurant next door) would be helpful.
