The rooms are very comfortable and are exquisitely ornamented and stocked with amenities. The proprietress was exceptionally kind and attentive. I was traveling with my sister who had broken her ankle, and the owner inquired about how she was doing and insisted on preparing an ice bag for her. The breakfast was continental-style and self-serve, but plentiful. Good supply of coffee and teas with hot water available in the kitchen at all times and a Keurig in the rooms. Free parking, although you have to be on your toes backing out of the slots, as the property is along a sometimes busy road. Walking distance (if you're not injured) from the main street of Nevada City. We had a lovely stay and would stay again.

There is a beautiful little creek running through the garden area with lots of little spots to sit and enjoy.

The location was great and the walk was not bad at all to the city. I would also say it was quiet and I love the area that it is in.

Beautiful setting with a creek and heard the water during the night. Nice cottage. Whimsical presentation. Felt like visiting my grandmothers cottage. Good shower. Very nice manager.
It is close to the highway and some sounds of trucks could be heard at times. And we thought it would be a full breakfast and it wasn’t. Basically a good continental with pastries, hard boiled eggs, really good coffee, some juice, however the description lead to expecting a real breakfast. So kinda changed the value with that.
