don’t let the aesthetics fool you

Close to the airport and the manager John was nice buts that’s about it!! The rest was a disaster.

We booked a two bedroom and we were placed on the ground floor and asked if we could be moved to an upper level for safety. Instead of the property manager saying that the room they had available had water damage and mold they said it was not clean and they sent their cleaning crew to clean. Honestly I would prefer to have stayed on the ground floor if water damage was the issue. Beyond the mold and water damage. You can tell that the apartment is not well maintained. The shower head leaked…meaning the water came out of the seams between the rubber and the metal itself. The fixtures were basically destroyed. Nothing but rust, green tissue and more. The cleaning crew clearly don’t know what products to use to keep the fixtures well maintained. The shower crevices where caulking usually goes was just mold and dirt. I physically felt sick being there. The water heater in one of the bathrooms didn’t work. The bathroom doors didn’t close…one of which was directly in front of the living room so if you had guests the door would just open and your guest will see you using the toilet. Happened to my mom, luckily we had no guest. They used Tissues paper to fill the door to help it close?! The mattress is a literal rock. The towel bar was broken. The elevator was very small. Oh did I mention the room they moved us to was not clean. I always clean and sanitize the place I’m staying at when I’m traveling and when I did it this time…the Clorox wipes were filled with only lord knows what?! Some of the residue was black, brown, and red. When you shower with the door closed water leaks all over the bathroom floor. The internet almost never worked unless you were right next to the router. The toilet seat wasn’t screw and slid while I was using it. I left there feeling sick from the smell of mold when I took a shower. Eventually my mom, husband and I decided to leave and go elsewhere.
