Well before our arrival, the host got in touch with us and provided all the necessary check-in details. Upon arrival, she met us at a central location in town and personally escorted us all the way to the apartment. Throughout our stay, the host was very helpful, offering valuable recommendations on places to visit and providing useful practical information. She also responded immediately when a storm caused an electrical issue, promptly arranging for an electrician to fix the problem.
Although the apartment is not located in the town centre, but rather closer to the beach and nearby hotels, the street is unfortunately quite busy, with large buses being particularly noticeable. However, the biggest disruption to our sleep was a rooster living nearby, who made sure to wake us up with his enthusiastic crowing at around 5 a.m. every morning!
Initially, we were also a little puzzled by the fact that electricity was charged separately, as this does not seem to be common practice. However, I suppose this policy was introduced because some guests use the air conditioning excessively in all rooms. Since we stayed in October, we had no need for it, so our electricity bill came to less than €14.
