The room was not in good condition and to add to that there was blood on the sheets.

Nightmare Accommodation

It had a nice size and good location.

The cleanliness of the apartment was absolutely deplorable. There was hair in the bathrooms from previous guests, and when I complained, they sent someone the next day. The blankets were stained with only God knows what, and when I asked for them to be replaced, the lady they sent the following day only had sheets (i sent them pics of stained blanket and asked for replacement over the phone), no replacement blankets at all. I spent two full days frustrated, dealing with staff who showed zero empathy and zero problem-solving skills. The kitchen didn’t even have something as basic as a sponge for washing dishes… It was a total disaster in terms of cleanliness. One of the showers had a broken cold-water handle, so only scalding hot water would come out; when I reported it, I was told they only work from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, so if it happened over the weekend, it was basically bad luck and would be fixed on Monday (my stay ended on Saturday). After much complaining, they moved me to another apartment and asked me to quickly check if it was clean. It seemed acceptable at first, but when I turned on the shower, what looked like mold started coming up from the floor drain, which was disgusting. In the second bedroom, the bed blocked the door from closing, making the air conditioning useless. The worst part, however, was the customer service: the cleaning lady they sent rolled her eyes at me, refused to enter for several minutes, and then insulted me in Portuguese to the company staff on the phone, assuming I wouldn’t understand… but I understood everything. Overall, a truly terrible experience… They say they give a hotel experience but it’s nothing like that!! It’s terrible!!

Host cancelled but got full refund

Host cancelled, but got a full refund. Booking reimbursed the difference for the extra costs of having to find a new, last minute accommodation.

Host cancelled on the day of the reservation, 1 hour after scheduled check-in time and only after we reached out, not proactively.

I do not recommend this place for staying.

I appreciated how easy it was to check in. The internet connection was good, too. There was clean drinking water in the kitchen.

The room was not the same I paid for. I booked a studio, but the room was very different from what I saw on the photos. The furniture was quite old, and there was black mold on the ceiling and some other surfaces in the bathroom. There were spots on the towels, they didn’t seem clean. The floor and some surfaces in the bathroom were dirty (there was someone’s hair). Bathroom door handle was broken. I asked to change my room twice, but my request was ignored (screenshots attached). Poor service.
