A very disappointing stay, with serious cleanliness, maintenance and pest
It was close to the metro and the bed was big.
Unfortunately, my stay at this apartment was very disappointing, and I would not recommend it based on my experience.
First of all, the apartment was not clean when I arrived. The floor was visibly dirty, which gave a very poor first impression.
The biggest issue, however, was the number of insects throughout the apartment (PFA). There were insects of all sizes — large and small — in different areas of the apartment, including the bathroom, kitchen and even next to the bed. I also encountered cockroaches, which is completely unacceptable for accommodation that is supposed to be properly maintained and cleaned.
The air conditioning also broke down during my stay. When someone came the following day to fix it, I was told that I could not use the induction hob at the same time as the air conditioning because of the electrical issue. In other words, I had to choose between having air conditioning or being able to cook, which is particularly problematic in a hot climate.
I stayed for several weeks, yet only one roll of toilet paper was provided. For a stay of this length, this is clearly insufficient.
Another major problem is the design of the bathtub/shower. Every time I took a shower, even if it lasted only around three minutes, the bathroom floor became flooded because the water did not drain or stay within the bathtub properly. This was not a one-off incident but a recurring problem.
There were also issues with the building itself. One day, children on my floor repeatedly rang my doorbell and ran away, preventing me from working properly. I understand that this is not necessarily the apartment owner’s fault, but the experience was extremely disruptive.
Finally, I had a very unpleasant experience with the building security. I had bought a pack of six large bottles of water, and as I was unable to carry them upstairs myself, a friend helped me bring them to my apartment.
