Bit retro, but nice place.

We visited Chatel at the begining of June, so it was extremely quiet, our car was the only one parked at the car park. Balcony was nice. I guess in winter this place must be very crowded, would love to come back and see it covered in snow.

Appartment interior brings the memories from 70-ies / 80-ies which I have the right not to remember. Especially bathroom could do with a bit of renovation...? But I guess it's reflected in price.

PLEASE think very very very carefully before booking this property. It was a horrible experience.

The property has good parking and is only a short walk away from the nearest ski lift.

This was the worst Booking.Com experience I have had after many stays all over the world. We were staying for one night and arrived late evening to leave early the next day. We arrived to find the external key box open and with no keys inside. Infact, the door was open with keys on the table. On entering the apartment the beds were extremely messy (see photo), there were bottles and food items on the table and the bin was half full. The toilet had also not been flushed and there was a bottle on the balcony table that had been used as an ashtray. It was very obvious no cleaning had been done prior to our arrival. We cleaned the table and tried to clean the toilet (no cleaning materials were available) and assessed the beds. We had brought bed linen as detailed on the website, but the beds were still horrible and the duvets (as shown in the photo) were dirty and stained. There was no way we wanted to sleep on the beds or use the duvets. Luckily we had sleeping bags and mats and so used those (2 of us on the sofa bed and one on the floor). It was horrible and if we had had any alternative we would have left at this point. We used a few plates and bowls for breakfast but there was no towel to dry them. We couldn't find any information about the bins and there were no bin bags available so this was left as we found it. We left early in the morning. We thought that was the end of the stay but unfortunately not. Later that evening we received an email from the owner saying new residents had arrived and complained about the state of the apartment. I'm not surprised they complained, but apparently this was our fault and the owner had complained to Booking.com. In fact, we had left the apartment better than we found it (this wasn't hard) and were very offended by the accusation. We should have read previous reviews better as this is clearly a trend about it being unclean and dirty.

Apparemment tres bien situé. 2 min chaussures de ski aux pieds pour etre sur la piste du linga. Apparemment propre . Magasin de location de ski au pied de l appartement des restaurants tout autour et une boulangerie a 2 min a pied . Tres bien desservie par les navettes . La propriétaire répond rapidement aux messages par SMS. Apparemment petit mais cosy. Je lu tout les commentaires négatifs je suis arrivé avec une boule au ventre, et quand j ai passé la porte de l appartement c est tout le contraire l appartement était propre sans soucis particuliers. Pour les personnes qui veulent louer vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Pour ma part j ai deja demandé de le réserver pour l année prochaine.

Le seul reproche qui n a rien a voir avec l appartement les voisins qui j ai du faire un petit rappel de vie en immeuble. Et attention pas de réseau sfr donc pas d internet mais on s en fou c est les vacances
