We absolutely loved our stay! The house is in a beautiful location right by Lake Traunsee, and the view when you wake up in the morning and look out the window is just amazing! Step outside and you’re surrounded by peace, quiet and beautiful nature. The house was spotless, very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was even better than the photos! Everything is so well thought out, with lots of towels and even bathrobes provided. There are supermarkets just 400 metres away, which is very convenient, and you can also enjoy a barbecue at the house, which is a lovely bonus. The owners were so nice and helpful. When we needed extra heating, they arranged it right away. They live nearby, but we had complete privacy. We had such a wonderful time and really didn’t want to leave. If you’re looking for a perfect, relaxing holiday, this is the place! Highly recommended!

The facility was magnificent and it was topped by the proximity to lake Traunsee and the view from inside the house.

Nothing except that the stay wasn’t longer.

As a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 young boys) we found the space to be fantastic. Our main priorities were somewhere with outside space to enjoy in the evenings, well located to local sights but also where we could also get directly on the lake with our paddleboards for ease - Seechalet delivered! We were fortunate with good weather and also enjoyed use of the BBQ, firepit and outdoor tub on an evening - absolute bliss! Great proximity for also visiting Hallstatt. Supermarkets close by and some restaurants. Traukirchen was beautiful for slow afternoon and spot of lake swimming. The Miesweg hike was fun, definitley for the adventurous kids. Your host, Andrea lives next door and has great local recommendations.

Mattress is the main bedroom a bit too firm for my preference.

Ein wirklich entspannender Aufenthalt in einem sehr modernen, fast neuem, sauberen Haus auf einem Grundstück direkt am Traunsee. Unendlich viele Ausflugsziele in zumutbarer Entfernung. Also viel besser würde es nicht gehen.

Also die Frage: Was hätte besser sein können? Da fällt mir, außer "vielleicht das Wetter" wirklich nicht viel ein.
