This property and Rue Chanzy is a great option in Reims. The apartment has everything you need!

The location of this property on Rue Chanzy is superb. Some great restaurants and cafes in this street. Nice and close to walk to major tourist sites and other bustling venues. The street is clean and safe.

The only complaint with the property is that the floor is a little creaky making it difficult to be quiet moving around at night.

n/a: I didn't even see the apartment

the rating (1.0) is the lowest value assignable; if possible, it would have been zero. To be clear, it is not assigned to the apartment, which I am not in a position to judge because I have not even seen it, but it is on the fairness of the owners. Here is what happened: I had a reservation for a single night, but due to a problem with my car, I could not reach the apartment. As soon as this problem became clear to me (in the afternoon of the day I was expected to arrive) I reported it to the owners using the Booking chat. On the same chat, they replied that they were sorry and that they would check what could be refundable. Then nothing more. The following items were clearly indicated in the booking confirmation (which I attach here): - total cost: 142.00 euro, broken down as follows: 1) 71.82 euros: flat 2) 7.18 euros: 10% VAT 3) 55.00 euro: cleaning fee for the stay 4) 8.00 euro: service charge for the stay / tax - cancellation costs: until 2 August: 0,00 euro after 2 August: 79,00 euro It appears clear, as per the cancellation costs and according to logic, that I should be charged for 79.00 euros (sum of items 1 and 2), and, instead, I should have be refunded of 63.00 euros (items 3 and 4), furthermore given that they refer to costs clearly not applicable: cleaning and tourist tax. I then pointed this out on the same chat, but they rejected the request, without even giving a justification. of course anybody can judge by himself, but to me, this behavior flags a violation of mutual contractual obligations clearly expressed in the booking confirmation which, in other words, means improper as well as obviously dishonest behavior and therefore my suggestion to everyone is to stay away from this facility because, beyond the contingent situation, any unfair and unjustified bad behavior does guarantee for nothing good in general
