Upstairs didn't look as clean

We did not stay here, initial arrival was very unpleasant.

Upon arrival the condo was nothing as pictured or as reviews had stated. We arrived at 3, I sent a message asking if we could check in early because our arrival time wasn’t until 4pm. I was told no because the cleaning crew was likely still there and if I didn’t receive an automated text then it was not ready. We waited until 4pm and checked in. When you first walk in the condo smelled of strong urine. I thought it was just the bathroom being near the front door, I was wrong. The entire condo smelled of it. Both of the upstairs tvs did not work. The bedroom with the bunk had 4 remotes, one being broken, 2 without batteries and another with batteries but covered in so much gunk when my husband picked it up he gagged and had to immediately wash his hands. There was water damage on the downstairs ceiling. Mold was frowning out of the vents downstairs. The handrail in the stairs was broken making it unsafe for my kids. The baseboards weee black and filthy. A lot of broken items within the condo and in the walls. Just being in the condo made us feel gross. We were only there maybe a total of 10 minutes before I called to request to be moved to another condo. Both myself and my son are highly allergic to mold, there was no way we could stay there so we had to sit outside the condo while I was on the phone figuring out what our next step was. My 8 year old was crying and saying “there is no way we can stay here, this is the worst place we have been to in Florida”. The first person I talked to on the phone from Avari did not take me serious and I had a feeling was not going to work to make it right. I called back and talked to another lady who was fantastic and let me know the previous person did not put the ticket in correctly. I was told there were no other condos that we could move to but we could get a refund but would need to find ourselves another place to stay.

Everything about the property was really nice

The parking pass, and check in time made 0 sense as the office closes at 4 and the check in time was also 4 so we couldn’t actually get the physical pass to make sure our car wouldn’t be towed
