Andreia, the host, is really the bedrock of this place - she's incredibly attentive and made sure we had whatever we needed. She welcomed us in and walked us through the room and then made sure we had a list of restaurant recommendations and were aware that there was a marathon that weekend so it would be harder to find a taxi (which saved us A LOT of stress). She was kind enough to let me leave my luggage and come back before my flight
We also had a mix up with transportation to a villa for a wedding and she called a taxi for us and was able to find one even though all the apps / taxi places were not working. Overall huge help to have a local helping out and guiding you through Florence.
The location is great because it's tucked away in a local square but then you round the corner and BOOM there are a bunch of tourists, especially near the bridge.
Just keep in mind this is more of an airbnb set-up within a residential building rather than a traditional hotel that would offer breakfast or dry cleaning etc.
Small things:
- The view is not a direct view of the river / bridge - you have to kind of stick your head out to see it ;)
- Shower is a bit small and sink isn't wide

Localisation was great. Personal was really nice.
It was a super small room. It was a queen size bed and we could not open 2 suitcases or dress in the bathroom. city views means just view to the street. check out super early although it was in the info and gave options to store luggage. Building entrance is very old . It was very expensive compared to other options I found based on the above so we have higher expectations
