We really enjoyed our stay here. Saddam welcomed us with an open heart and a big hug like a family or a close fiend rather than a hotel guest. He was very responsive and attentive trying to anticipate our needs. The living area and the rooms were carefully decorated and very clean - Saddam was stressing the importance of closing all doors so the flies from the stable (which one expects given the horses) do not get to the living area. We loved the horse ride Saddam organised for us - the horse was beautiful and very well trained and the guide showed us the cistern and the remains of one of if not the oldest villages in the human history- we would not have seen them otherwise.
We liked the proximity to Petra . We loved the horses and the authenticity of the property and most off all the kindness of Saddam the owner, and the staff.
Everything was very good. The only thing I could recommend is to maybe have a bed sheet cover over the blanket on the bed.

Clean, very quiet, special sunset view and star gazing.

A beautiful place, located near Petra and Little Petra, where you'll find peace, quiet, and authenticity. The host cooks his own food—vegetarian dishes are available upon request. I highly recommend the horseback riding tour to Little Petra!
