It’s always a pleasure to stay at Ndame! This was our second time booking a week of our Zanzibar holidays at the hotel, having first stayed there last year, and we were delighted to return.
The staff are incredibly friendly and always welcoming. We particularly enjoyed seeing Hilali again, whom we had met during our first stay last year.
The views from the rooms, restaurant, and pool are simply breathtaking. The pool area can get a little busier during the day, as guests from other hotels also come to spend the day there. However, the property is spacious enough to accommodate everyone, and the background music creates a lovely atmosphere while still allowing you to enjoy peaceful moments.
Our room was lovely, with plenty of space for our two large suitcases and a spacious bathroom. The restaurant also serves delicious food, which you can enjoy right by the pool.
On weekends, the hotel also organizes live music performances, traditional dances, and acrobatic shows, adding an extra touch of local culture and entertainment to the experience.
We had another wonderful stay at Ndame and will happily return!

The location, the views, pool were clean , breakfast was delicious and the hotel staff was friendly and welcoming.
That our room didn’t have a iron and had to pay for iron services which didn’t make sense since I know that the hotel comes with those things.

the food was good although would have preferred a buffet breakfast and loved the view from my room it was awesome loved the pool ...but the chairs were uncomfortable and so was the room. it was too small...loved the hot shower...
the chairs the bed and room were uncomfortable till my back started hurting...the towels were not changed for the whole stay of ours...not enough space for our things to put away no table in the room...and it needs major refurbishment ...
