10/10 — A beautiful seaside stay we would happily return to!
Working from Anywhere for hubby. We absolutely loved our stay at Kyalanga. From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and at home. The beautiful, quality furnishings and thoughtful touches made it feel so welcoming. With three bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, including a lovely big fridge, we had everything we needed.
The crisp, clean white linen and towels were wonderful, and even beach towels were provided! The main bedroom deserves a special mention: the mattress was exceptionally comfortable, and waking up to those stunning sea views was such a treat. We especially loved the stacking doors, which opened up the whole living space and brought the seaside atmosphere right inside.
The location is fantastic. A beach gate takes you straight onto the promenade for lovely walks to nearby restaurants, alongside beautiful, clean and well-kept beaches. We felt safe and completely relaxed. The lovely pool and braai facilities were another bonus.
Communication was excellent from our initial booking through Booking.com until the end of our stay. Everything was so well organised, from the clear directions and easy key handover to the helpful security guards and excellent daily housekeeping.
Thank you to the owners and the team for making our time here so special. Everything was perfect — truly one of our best stays ever in Umhlanga. We left with happy hearts and would love to come back!

The location was superb. The kitchen had any conceivable crockery or cutlery available. The appliances included an airfryer as well as a nespresso machine.

Location. Privacy. Kitchen fully stocked. Aircon.
Unit needs an upgrade. Couch is sagging and
old. Bar stools corroded and damaged.
Staff do not clean properly. Beds are not dusted properly. There are spiders everywhere which bit my children.
The care taker of this area cuts the grass so early while holiday goers are asleep. These units are on the ground. They put the sprinklers on so the kids can not play on the grass. The pool was locked. When I enquired, the pool was indicated to be opened from the inside safety lock however it was locked.
