We had a flight cancellation at the last minute and were unsure of finding accommodations, and were delighted to find Hotel de la Ville Relais! It was close to the airport, but quiet! No staying awake with airline traffic. The room was comfortable and the bed VERY comfortable! We were most impressed with the breakfast. It was different for us to order the night before, but at breakfast the waiter was so courteous, attentive and gracious! We felt like we were treated like royalty! Later & at the end of our meal fortunately, some manager type people took over & appeared grumpy & rushed. The helpful waiter was dismissed to the kitchen unfortunately. (we made a point to find her and tip her!) We enjoyed being able to walk to the waterfront for delicious meals. The check-in staff were very informative, helpful & spoke English so well it was very easy for us. Up to this time we had felt a little flustered with all of the Airline cancellations and changes we had to made. We were able to pull together and relax here.... it was wonderful and we would return & recommend for others.
The managerial staff that relieved our original breakfast waitress were on the grumpy, rushed side with was sad to see.

The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating- especially since we booked the room short notice on the same night. The breakfast on sight was convenient and the shuttle to the airport was also helpful (although we paid additional for both). Our room and bathroom were VERY clean and tidy.
The online advertisement did not match the actual aesthetics of the property. The "ocean view" is a peek of the ocean from several blocks away. The hotel needs to be updated, for sure, especially the linens, mattresses, and decor.
