.The room was just one flight of stairs up. It was spacious, very clean and comfortable and was serviced every day. The residence is very secure and there is a desk/reception area which was staffed during the day.
The location felt very safe with lots of nice little bars/ restaurants nearby to eat in.
It is also near a supermarket and about a 7 min walk from Roma Terminus. The colessuem , Spanish steps, the Treve fountain and main centre of Rome are all within about a 30 minute walk.
The shower was inconsistent alternating between cold and hot water every 15 seconds or so and this remained the same throughout the week. It was manageable though and did not take away from our stay.

No breakfast was provided
The Residenzia was hard to find - no sign outside. We had to have someone at the Mecenate Palace show us where it is.

Great location, friendly, helpful hosts, nice big room, in a lovely private internal garden
The bathroom had an old fashioned shower over the bath, it felt slippery and unsafe

Location and size of the room.
Room is in need of updating. Furniture was old and not very well taken care of. The bed was too hard for me. The bathroom fixtures were in need of repair.
