The staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate any requests we had, give advice about local restaurants, taxis etc. I want to just mention Emma who booked us in, and Julia who organised an early breakfast and carried our luggage down the stairs from our room on the last day.
The hotel was in a good location for walking to the main town and restaurants and close to the river
Our room was adequate in size for a short stay, with a good sized shower and a very comfortable bed.
The breakfast was excellent and no rush to leave whilst we waited for a taxi to the station.
We were not aware before we arrived that there was no lift but the friendly staff insisted on carrying up our luggage, so not an issue for us.
The pillows were quite small but additional ones were immediately provided on request, so again not a problem.

The location was amazing, right in the heart of Bordeaux and within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and cafés. The room was very clean and well maintained
The room was quite small and felt a little cramped for a stay of several nights. It would be perfectly fine for an overnight stay, but for three or four nights, a little more space would have made the experience more comfortable.

Great location, short walk to main city center.
They didn’t have free wine, lol.
