If you want authentic Quebec feel the this place is great. Great location. Short walk to the boardwalk.
Beware of no elevator or daily house keeping. Had one lamp in the room that didn't work and looked broken for a long time. Lighting in the room was poor. Carpeting old.

Great location and very pretty from the outside. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and the manager next door was friendly and allowed me to leave my luggage both before and after my stay. Breakfast was great in the restaurant downstairs.
Check in was difficult as the instructions provided were out of date. I was instructed to go to a hotel around the corner to check in and they were very annoyed with me and said that they had ceased managing the check-ins 3 years ago.
The character of the hallways and room did not match the character of the outside of the building

The breakfast was very good.
Room was smaller than expected, but sufficient.
Appreciated the fridge.
Location was excellent.
Stairs were a little challenging at times, but manageable. I was disappointed that there was no kettle in the room, as I drink tea, not coffee.
