The place was quaint and definitly very English with a cozy ambiance. The breakfast was great and Ann Marie God bless her was such a kind and warm person. Glad we met her. Justin was ever so helpful despite having his hands full that weekend. The fire place was the highlight of this place.
The bathroom for bathing could have been better as it was to cramped and restrictive. If there was a shower curtain it would have helped immensely preventing water from splashing onto the floor. The hot and cold shower tens to fluctuate with height of the shower head.

Great stay in a very characterful property with a room that far exceeded my expectations! I felt as if I had my own 15th century apartment, with cozy fireplace included.
I slept wonderfully, appreciated the hot bath, and also really enjoyed the yogurt, fruit & croissant breakfast.
Justin and Charlotte were great hosts & really helpful with communication prior to my arrival, making dinner reservations etc. Justin also spent time sharing info on the surrounding area, which was much appreciated. It was lovely to meet everyone at The Bakehouse and it felt like the perfect end to my Walsingham Way journey.

The village and people were really nice and welcoming. It was a good base to go from as there are lots of stately homes around that area which is what we liked
The accomodation was a bit dated and run down and a bit dusty. The room was warm enough. The tea and coffee and kettle was outside the room which wasnt what we are use to and there was a item of underwear which was under the bed and was.not ours and when i used a pencil to get it out the item was quite dusty and dirty and looked like it had been there for quite sometime
