Ami was the perfect host. He welcomes you into his home like family. It's very clean and cosy and perfectly located in the heart of old town. The property has so much character.
The property is what it is. It's old and in need of updating but it's also cosy and homely.

For me, the highlight was the owner himself. His funny, warm, and generous nature made me feel so at home right away that I came back after three days to spend another night there. He's 75, runs the hostel on his own, and does his very best. The house used to belong to his grandparents and parents, and I think it’s special that he’s opening this place up to others. You can feel the long history of this place.
The hostel is for women only, since privacy is limited by the walk-through rooms. The women I met were all wonderful. The place seems to attract exactly the right kind of people. I would definitely come back and would recommend it to my friends.

Great hostel! Ami is a super sweet, smart guy and very helpful. We went on a boat trip one day, and I had the time of my life! It was so much fun.
The rooms have a old charming vibe. Great central location. The mattress was a bit too soft, but otherwise everything was excellent.

Ami's is in a perfect location in the old centre of Corfu town. You can walk very easily to everything that you want to see and do. Close to the markets, cafes, supermarkets, taxi rank. 15/20 min walk to the Green bus station. There are basic cooking facilities and free WIFI. The gentleman who runs it is very kind and helpful and he left great instructions for my late check in. It does have bit of a strange lay out which means other women go through your room to get to theirs or to go to one of the bathrooms but I didn't find it an issue. Bed was comfortable. I felt very safe and welcomed during my stay. It is a great spot for a central stay at a very low cost for central Corfu. It isn't 5 star but it is great value and if you accept it for what it is you will enjoy your stay.
The only thing I would say needs improving is the level of cleanliness in the kitchen but I just cleaned up as I needed to.
