beautiful chalet a couple mins out of trawsfynydd, loved being greeted by the dogs every morning and the owners was especially lovely to meet, very respectful, very accommodating, would definitely go again! also the horses are beautiful too!

Perfect for our two night stay and good value for Snowdonia/Eryri park. Dolgellau is only 15 minutes away too.
Not much, if there was a deck with a view of the mountains it would be perfect

We absolutely loved our stay at Penystryd. The pod was lovely, cosy, clean and very well equipped, with beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We also loved meeting the lovely dogs — they were such a bonus!
Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Great, unique place to stay. Well equipped and comfortable for a family of 4. Excellent, friendly host and gorgeous animals that the kids liked being introduced to.
Nothing, but a wood fired hot tub would be a lovely addition :-)
