For us the location, grounds and the hotel itself were perfect. The staff were charming, patient and extremely accommodating in every way. Even our muddy dog did not phase them! The breakfasts and dinners were truly exceptional, beautifully presented and very generous. The wines were also particularly interesting and all of a high standard. Every moment there was a pleasure for us.
What we didn't like was having to go home after just four nights. It was worth every moment of our six hour drive to get there! We didn't like saying goodbye.

Comfortable beds, clean, relaxing, good staff and excellent food. Unique and wonderful quiet location
Nothing much to dislike other than a dog in a bedroom nearby barking occasionally
