Nice views and a worn-out apartment

The stunning view from the balcony, sandy beach, private restaurant downstairs.

Unfortunately, our stay was a very disappointing experience, especially considering that we booked this apartment for four people and expected basic standards of cleanliness, hygiene and comfort. The apartment was simply not clean. It looked as if it had not been properly cleaned for a very long time. The most shocking issue was the washing machine, which had bedding left inside that was visibly stained with vomit. This was not something we discovered immediately – it was simply left there for the next guests... The bed linen was extremely old and worn, and in the corners there were visible marks that appeared to be mould. This is particularly concerning from a hygiene perspective. The towels were also so old and worn that they were no longer white, and clearly looked like they had been used for many years. The condition of the furniture and fittings was equally disappointing. The cabinets and curtains were broken, giving the entire apartment a neglected and poorly maintained appearance. The living room sofa was completely worn out and practically broken. As we had booked the apartment for four people, our children were supposed to sleep on this sofa, but its condition made it very difficult to consider it an acceptable sleeping arrangement. The air conditioning was another problem. It had a very unpleasant smell and, since the only air conditioner was located in the living room, it was not really possible to properly cool the sleeping area. Overall, the apartment appears to have been poorly maintained and inadequately cleaned for a long period of time. This was not a case of a few minor imperfections or normal wear and tear — there were serious issues with cleanliness, hygiene, furniture and general maintenance. We have stayed in many apartments and understand that a rental property does not have to be perfect.

NO ENGLISH SPOKEN BY ANY STAFF. NO WIFI ON SITE. NO KETTLE OR COFFEE MACHINE.SHOWER HAD NO WATER PRESSURE.SOFA SEEN BETTER DAYS.
