Host cooperated a lot on key collection, as I was late for an hour but was well within the agreed time. Place has got all the facilities minus AC, which i was aware of before booking.
That i did not get to meet the gentleman i was chatting all the time till and beyond key collection.

David was a great and helpful host, answering all questions I had. The room space was spacious and suitable for 3 guests and beds were comfy. Felt very secure during my stay here. Also it was helpful that it had a washing machine as well.
Only thing was the kitchen light wasn’t bright enough

We stayed for three nights and appreciated the opportunity to experience accommodation with traditional Florentine character. The apartment has some lovely historic features, including timber ceilings, exposed brickwork and traditional wooden windows, which contribute to its authentic atmosphere.
Our host, Davide, was friendly, communicative and responsive when we raised concerns. He acknowledged our feedback and indicated that some maintenance improvements were already planned.
The apartment served as a base for exploring Florence, and there is certainly potential for it to be a much more enjoyable stay with some attention to presentation, cleaning and maintenance.
It is a perfectly adequate place to stay and a great base for exploring the city. However, not somewhere to stay if you are looking for a luxe experience. Having said that, it is not a bad place to stay. Davide is attentive and has provided all of the essentials, including a great washing machine.
Unfortunately, the apartment didn't quite live up to our expectations. We had hoped for an authentic Florentine experience, and while the property certainly had traditional character, minor concerns with cleanliness, maintenance and presentation detracted from our stay.
The floors were noticeably dirty when we arrived, the kitchen cupboard doors didn't close properly, the kitchen tap leaked when used, and there were issues with the shower. There was also a ladder and assorted pictures and frames stored in the small hallway, which made the apartment feel cluttered rather than properly prepared for guests.
When we raised these concerns, our host was polite and receptive. He explained that a replacement kitchen tap had already been purchased and was awaiting installation. While we appreciated his response, these were issues that ideally should have been addressed before guests arrived.
We genuinely appreciate older accommodation with traditional character, but there's a difference between historic charm and shortcomings in cleaning, maintenance and presentation.
Overall, the apartment was adequate for our three-night stay, but we didn't particularly enjoy the accommodation itself. With some relatively straightforward improvements, it could offer a considerably better guest experience.
