The place is not a typical guesthouse. It's located in a village on the hills 20 minutes south of Tirana. The scenery is beautiful, calming and relaxing which makes the place very special! The guesthouse is surrounded by fruit trees and grape vines. The staff is young volunteers from all over the world kind and friendly and the owner and his family. Beautiful walking trails start from the guesthouse.
The toilet and shower are inclosed in the room by glass doors & curtains.

Beautiful peaceful location high on the hill, the garden is the fruit trees orchard, kittens and friendly dog roaming freely. We went for a walk to Pelumba cave and canyon and this was a perfect location for it as it's on the way. Breakfast was delicious and generous. My son was crying when we were leaving after two nights stay as he didn't want to leave and say goodbye to the animals.

The closeby cave and the canyon walk are pretty nice. Many fruit trees, lots of homemade stuff and some animals make this a very special place. Shower, kitchen and facilities are basic, a bit rustic but always clean and overall awesome.
Hard to get here by public transport. Usually three busses per day, that now (mid october) randomly stopped driving the way up to the center of the village in the evening. Better have a Plan B.

Spartan breakfast. Friendly staff, both the owner and the girls working there. Convenient location for the area. Nice that they lend out torchlights and poles if you are going hiking to the cave. Tranquil and harmonic with a countryside feeling. Cheap.
The wifi wasn't working, but the friendly owner provided a phone with a hotspot all night, so it worked out. The room was unfortunately super hot with no air conditioning and no fan. Being in the middle of nature, I didn't dare to sleep with the windows open because of potential bugs. The shared bathroom is super small and old, with the shower and a hole-in-the-floor toilet in the same room the size of a phone booth. You need to exit the building and go to the back of it to access the toilet or shower. Ok for a night if you don't mind rustic.
