Accommodation in the middle of nowhere WITHOUT MOBILE SIGNAL, very bad attitude of the owner

Beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea, cleanliness and kitchen equipment quite sufficient. And here it is to stop about positive things.

First- no welcoming by anybody, we had to drive to another city to pick up the key. The missing toilet paper, the unemptied trash can in front of the door and also missing jacuzzi were just cosmetic, unimportant little things on beginning. Because then it continued with endless stress - and that was related to the lack of MOBILE SIGNAL- by walking around 100-200 metres -and rarely- we cought signal from greek mobile operator. To text or to make a call we had to drive by car at least 5-6 km, because the accommodation is located in the middle of nowhere. In addition, to get to the sea, you have to go down a very steep slope, and you will find a few meters where you can enter the water, so I wouldn't even call it a beach. Better not even think about an accident, because you have no way to call for help! We announced it the next day to the booking.com and we were asked to connect with the owner. But she had very antipathetic attitude, and refused to comply with our request to shorten our stay, no understanding with the fact that we were not able to be "lost" more than for 1-2 days . She argued there was written "there is no wifi in the accommodation". However, someone who has their own data does not need wifi, but for that you need a mobile operator signal. And its absence should be explicitly stated on the booking.com website! Despite the missing agreement with the owner, we left on the third day, facing to searching a new accommodation in the middle of the season. And then hours on the phone with booking.com followed and the owner only gave in when we announced that we would take the matter to a lawyer. In the end we paid for 3 days ,although originally we requested to get back all paid money. Conclusion : if you want to save yourself from days full of stress, avoid this place! Accommodation with a beautiful view of the Adriatic can be found also somewhere else, but including the services and treatment you deserve to have during holidays!
