Really nice and respectful staff, requested an extra blanket for the bed and they gave it to us right away.
I would recommend the rooftop 2 apartment for friend groups or large families, because it was amazing that 2 small rooms with separate bathrooms can be used for sleeping/prep, but we had a large common place for all of us.
This was not clear from the description, but if you get the 2 rooftop rooms you also get the exclusive access to the balcony, there is an other separate balcony as well, but that s common.
The view was amazing, always fresh air, and the rooftop balcony could be locked so it felt extra safe.
We also had a cat visitor, who was extremely cute! :3

location: easy to find, lots of restaurants and cornershops/mini marts nearby. 15 min walk to the blue mosque.
property itself was in good condition, comfortable and clean. room had a mini fridge - handy for storing water.
wifi was good too.
property has a lift/elevator which was great after all the hill walking.
we had access to a small kitchen, but we didn't use it.
It is within walking distance of most of the main places to visit - grand bazaar, hagia sophia, blue mosque, cistern basilica, topkapi palace, suleymaniye mosque, spice bazaar, yeni camii and ferries. (just be prepared for the hills some of them are steep).

nothing. it met expectations. it was a good price hotel for what we needed - a comfy place to sleep and shower and get ready for sightseeing.

Good value for money. The staff is friendly, the location is great.
The showerhead was clogged, so it was difficult to shower properly. If this is fixed, then the bathroom would be perfectly fine.
In general, the furniture is quite old, and the room has an outdated appearance. The floor in our room felt unstable, and whenever we stepped on it, we could hear the wardrobe shaking.
We also had to ask for an extra blanket because there wasn’t anything suitable available for us to cover ourselves with.
